Instagram carousel text gets cropped

Locate the first stage where the text disappears: design, export, selected upload crop or the particular published preview. Compare the actual files and surfaces instead of guessing a universal safe margin. A preview and a full post may present different framing.

Find the stage that removes the text

  1. Inspect the exported slide

Open the exact export used for publication. Check whether all text is inside its frame and whether any layer or mask already hides it.

  2. Check each slide's dimensions

Record the actual exported width and height. Compare the important text position with the crop you intend to use; do not assume every export in the set is identical.

  3. Review the selected publication framing

Use the actual options and preview available to your account. Observe which edges are removed and whether the chosen frame keeps the explanation readable.

  4. Compare the published surfaces

Inspect the full post and the relevant preview as a visitor. Decide which surface the text must work in, then revise the design source and test the new export.

Interpret the finding

The aspect-ratio calculator explains a chosen crop geometrically. It does not certify a platform's current overlay or preview behaviour; your own observed publication remains the relevant check.

Keep the main question or product identity readable without relying on a later slide to repair a cropped first slide. Use the carousel outline to reconsider the hierarchy when too much text competes for a small area.
