Carousel safe area checker
Enter the frame, your own design margins and the box you need to retain. You can select a local image to preview the chosen geometry over its displayed frame. The starting margins are example inputs, not official platform safe-area specifications.
Use the same coordinate system
| Input | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Frame width and height | The actual exported canvas dimensions | 1080 × 1350 pixels |
| Margins | Distances inward from each frame edge | Left/right 80; top/bottom 100 pixels |
| Box left and top | The box's starting position from the frame's left/top | 120 and 160 pixels |
| Box width and height | The complete important area to retain | 800 × 300 pixels |
Read the result
With the example frame and margins, the chosen area is 920 × 1150 pixels. A box starting at 120,160 with size 800 × 300 fits. A box starting at 40,80 crosses the chosen left margin by 40 pixels and top margin by 20 pixels.
The optional local preview accepts supported raster files up to 20 MB and 25000000 encoded pixels. Its displayed dimensions set the frame; remove the preview to enter different dimensions. The original file is not uploaded or altered.
The checker compares your chosen geometry. It does not measure font glyphs or certify a platform's current crop, overlay or preview behaviour. Use the actual export and published surfaces to check what a viewer sees.
Choose a box that includes every important letter or subject detail, not just its nominal anchor point. If the margins leave no positive area, correct the inputs before assessing the box.
Check the real asset
- Use actual export dimensions.
- Measure the complete important bounding box.
- Choose margins for the surfaces you intend to support.
- Review the export and relevant published preview after editing.
