Instagram Reel script for a salon tour
Walk a first-time visitor through arrival, consultation and the appointment space. Film the route a customer will actually use, rather than a montage that leaves them unsure where to enter or what happens next.
0–5 seconds · Find the entrance
Spoken: First visit to [salon]? This is our entrance on [street or building]. Shot: Begin outside with the name and correct doorway in the same shot. Add the floor or entrance detail as readable text.
5–11 seconds · Arrival
Spoken: Come to reception when you arrive. We will confirm your appointment and who you are seeing. Shot: Walk to reception in a clear continuous direction. Use an empty appointment window; do not capture customer names on a screen.
11–18 seconds · Consultation
Spoken: Before we begin, we talk through [the actual consultation process] and agree the service with you. Shot: Show an arranged consultation with a team member. Capture a mirror or colour chart only if it explains the process being described.
18–25 seconds · Appointment area
Spoken: Your appointment takes place here. [Explain one real feature visitors need to know.] Shot: Show the chair, wash area or private space relevant to the chosen service. Avoid implying that every service uses a private room.
25–32 seconds · Booking
Spoken: For [service], check available appointments at [booking route]. Our current hours and directions are there too. Shot: End with the actual booking destination and location text. Keep the action visible long enough to read aloud.
Prepare the shoot
- Confirm the entrance, floor, hours and booking route.
- Choose a quiet filming window with staff who agree to appear.
- Remove appointment lists and customer belongings from the background.
- Check which consultation and appointment features apply to the featured service.
Adapt the script to the real situation
If the entrance is difficult to find, give it more time and remove an ornamental interior shot. A landmark is useful only when it is stable and visible from the route customers use.
Record the voice-over after filming the walk. If the complete read takes longer than the proposed timing, extend the scenes or shorten the wording; do not rush practical directions. Replace every bracket before publication.
