Instagram enquiry playbook for a wedding photographer

Connect approved portfolio work to the coverage, process and practical facts couples need. Make the enquiry route ask for the useful planning information, and show the actual package scope without implying that every gallery or optional product is included.

Build a workable content routine

  1. Select a representative sequence

Use appropriately permitted work that shows different relevant moments, rather than asking one portrait to explain the entire service.

  2. Explain one planning decision

Use a clearly fictional timeline or blank form to show how coverage, locations or group photographs are discussed.

  3. Make the enquiry usable

Test the contact destination on a phone. Ask for the non-sensitive facts needed to check the actual service, and explain the next step.

Apply the playbook

A portfolio post can lead to a coverage explanation, then a blank planning resource. The enquiry step can request the wedding date, venue locations and desired coverage without collecting guest identities through public comments.

Record appropriate enquiry questions and contact-flow obstacles. A high-view image can still leave couples unsure about scope, availability or how to contact the photographer.

Review before publishing

  • Portfolio use is permitted.
  • Sample timelines and galleries are correctly labelled.
  • Deliverables and optional products are distinct.
  • The enquiry route works and asks for useful information.
