Creator campaign production handoff checklist
Deliver the approved assets with the wording, destination, permissions and publication decisions needed to use them. A folder of video files is incomplete when the next person has to guess which version is approved or which offer the caption describes.
Your working document
Complete the record
| File or decision | What to include | Receiving check |
|---|---|---|
| Final video | Approved export and version | Playback, audio, crop and subtitles |
| Caption | Final wording and destination | Matches the video and current offer |
| Source material | Included editable files and required fonts/assets | Opens without missing linked files |
| Permissions | Location of the actual records | Covers the intended use and assets |
| Timing | Publication window and dependencies | No expired offer or unresolved approval |
Check before sharing
- Open the delivered files from the receiving team's location.
- Keep drafts separate from approved exports.
- Confirm the receiving team can access the folder without the creator's personal login.
- Record unresolved issues explicitly rather than leaving them in a private message.
Use the worksheet in practice
For a multi-language campaign, list each approved language version and its own caption file. Do not assume that an English approval also approves a regional edition.
If the handoff occurs before final approval, name it as a review handoff and mark what cannot yet be published. A later replacement should have a new version identifier and a clear note about which asset it supersedes.
